Amy Openshaw from Clacton-On-Sea’s ASDA superstore is celebrating being handpicked to attend an all expenses trip to the United States.
Amy Openshaw, Community Champion at ASDA, is just one of the few people in the UK selected to attend the Shareholders conference in recognition of her three years of volunteer work.
The conference is located in Arkansas, and is a three-day event, hosting over 15,000 colleaugues and associates from the USA.
This event is set to celebrate the accomplishment of the business, their staff and aims to share ideas from different countries.
The conference features a surprise celebrity guest appearance to end the trip.
Amy stated: “I am excited and very proud to be going to the USA to represent Clacton and ASDA, it really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Store Manager, Dean Bradbrook said: “This is a fantastic ay for our colleagues to learn more about how Walmart works in other countries.”
