Monday 11th of March we were set the task of creating a short video piece last no longer than 2 minuets seeking opinion regarding a topic of our choice. We had until Thursday 9AM to submit our final piece.
In light of a recent story in the news, Phillip Hammond had spoken about abolishing 'tampon tax'. Morgan and I thought this would be a good story to follow up and create content around.
We decided to host an interview asking questions regarding this matter to demonstrate a raw opinion.
Our first step was to figure out who was going to be the interviewer and the interviewee. In addition to this we needed to draft our questions carefully taking our time limit into consideration.
After we had established the task in hand we headed straight to the radio room to optimise our audio quality. We also borrowed a camera from the University in order to obtain the best footage possible - this also gave us first hand experience in handling equipment encompassed in the world of content creation.
