Hopton Haven trip

Jake and I went on a little holiday back in September, I just thought for my first travel post I'd share it with you guys so you could get to know us both and see what we got up to! We were only there for a week and we had the best time!

We stayed in a standard caravan which was more than enough room for the two of us. It had 2 bedrooms, and open plan kitchen, dining and living space. Overall the accommodation was very clean and user friendly. In some caravans there is an option to bring your pets which is a huge bonus for some people!

In and around the area there is a Tesco Superstore which made food shopping a lot easier as it was only round the corner. There were also a lot of different restaurants and pubs in the local village which we explored on different nights.

The beach was perhaps my favourite part of the whole holiday. Hopton campsite is literally next to the beach which meant only a short walk from our accommodation.

In terms of the campsite and its facilities, there was a lot to do, with a swimming pool, mini golf, tennis and bikes to hire we had lots to get done!

Before we got there I was super excited to go swimming because I have always loved swimming as a child and the pictures we looked at before booking the trip looked really inviting.

Unfortunately, this one particularly was quite small and more children and baby orientated. Having said that, we still enjoyed our time. We had a lot more fun when we hired a bike and played mini golf!

Overall, I would definitely recommend Hopton campsite but in my opinion, it would be much more enjoyable for those with families of children as there is a lot of entertainment tailored for that age. Having said that, there are events that take place for adult entertainment such as bingo and quiz nights which can be a lot of fun.

This video is just a little insight into our week! Hope you enjoy!
