Suffolk Food Halls Run For Mind Mental Health

Ipswich food hall staff set to complete the ‘Orwell Challenge’ in aid of independent mental health charity, Suffolk Mind.
Team members will attempt a 25-mile run to raise as much money as possible.
Suffolk food hall completed their own running challenge in January 2019 to raise money. This involved running every day for seven days resulting in raising a magnificent £1,268.84 for Suffolk Mind.
The Orwell challenge Sunday 23rd June 2019 is open to the public, running or walking one of three main routes ranging from 12 -25 miles.
Craig Bullard, event coordinator and butchery supervisor stated: "I'm so chuffed and proud that Suffolk Mind is our chosen charity for 2019. The Orwell Challenge is a great event where we’ll feel the benefits of exercise on our own wellbeing as well as promoting Suffolk Mind.”
Lizzy Tuthill, Community Fundraising Coordinator at Suffolk Mind said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Suffolk Food Hall are taking part in the Orwell Challenge.”
“Money raised from challenges goes towards counselling services and our GreenCare project.”
The Suffolk Food Hall Team have produced a ‘Suffolk Mind sausage’ – camomile tea and ginger flavour. £1 from each pound sold goes to Mind. It’s on sale from May 10thand is a camomile tea and ginger flavour.
