A group of nine have set themselves the ultimate gaming challenge.
Miles Prower and friends are set to game for a whole 24-hours to raise money for chosen charity “4 Louis”.
The marathon will commence Saturday May 4thin Playford.
The idea originated three years ago as a result of a family member passing away.
Prower, from Ipswich wanted to show their gratitude by raising as much money as possible and donating it to Ipswich Hospital.
As a result of this event, Prower has set up a business involving “retro gaming hire” and it has grown from “strength to strength” as a result.
This particular gaming marathon is in aid of charity “4 louis” as a result of Miles’ close friend suffering the loss of his second daughter.
This marathon will hopefully spread awareness and recognition for the charity as “They are an amazing charity and we thought they needed more attention.”
As it stands, nine people are involved so far, with the potential of more joining to offer their support.
Miles added: “It’s a great way for us to stay focused and interact with different people during the marathon”.
